Sri Cherukumilli Kamavadhani Veda sastra Parishath Trust was founded by Late Sri Kasibhatta Suryanarayana Murthy in the year 1974 as a mark of respect towards that Saintly Vedic Scholar Brahmasri Cherukumilli Kamavadhani . The Trust has been conducting Vedasabhas every year since, at Kadali village (Razole Mandal, Andhra Pradesh) and various other places in Andhra Pradesh to promote the Vedic knowledge.
The Trust honors several Vedic Scholars every year and also helps impart Vedic Knowledge to many interested students. The Trust plans to increase the number of pundits being felicitated every year and encourage many more Vedic Students, who are eager to learn. The trust runs because of people like you, who have been always generous in donating in support of the Vedic education and propagation.
Following are the accomplishments of the Trust in the last 47 years:
About 70 ‘Veda Sabhas’ were conducted so far in Kadali village, other regions and via Zoom/YouTube
About 1135 Ghanapaathis, about 2632 Kramapaathis and other pundits in Sastras were honored
A permanent building was constructed in Kadali village in 1992 for Vedic learning, chanting and other religious activities
A Veda Upadhyaaya was appointed to teach interested children chanting of Vendas as part of a Veda Pathasaala in this Trust building
Blankets and clothes distributed to poor people in the community every year
Till date, about Rs. 11,25,000/- were spent towards respecting Vedic pundits from the yearly interest gained out of the deposits created from donations - about Rs. 3,000 for Ghanapathis and Rs. 2,700 for Kramapaathis
For the last 5 years, the Vedic pundits were presented with new clothes

Founder and First president
Born in the year 1916, Sri Suryanarayana garu lost his mother at an early age. He has been into social causes and service right from his childhood. He always had a very keen interest and liking towards spiritual activities. He was very active during his youth and after marriage with Sri Narasamma the activities only doubled with the like minds bonded together. Together they performed a lot of Yagna's and Yaga's.
Brahmasri Kamavadhani Garu
An esteemed vedic scholar who dedicated his life in the service of Veda. He has been a Veda guru for many and spent the last score of years in Puttaparthi serving Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
